Description |
Postcard photograph of the Midland High School (eventually the Midland Junior High School), located at the foot of McDonald Street. Built in1909 after the previous school building burned down, the building served as the high school from 1909 to1937. In 1937 it became the Junior High school. Written on back: "Nov 8, 1910 - Laira I believe your letter it found all well and before you all well and not put the smart pot yet and before you want get them there was quite a account [missing words] and arent well [missing words] burnt bad. They all burnt bad. Best wishes to all." The card is addressed to: "Miss Larea Reynolds, 429 N. Granger St., Saginaw, Mich." |
