Description |
Ruins of Union School, the first high school in Midland, located at the foot of McDonald Street. The school was destroyed by a fire on October 26, 1908. Wooden building in left side of picture was used for 3rd & 4th grades. It was last wood school building in Midland. Used as bandroom during its last years, even after new MHS was built in 1937. |
