Description |
Pine River Bridge, Homer Township. Truss bridge located at 4 3/4 Mile Road in Homer Township, constructed in 1903 by the Tunnel City Bridge and Iron Work out of Port Huron the bridge originally spanned the Pine River until 1998. The Bridge was deemed a historic and relocated to the property of Jim Hyatt, restored and painted dark green the bridge was placed on concrete abutments spanning Bullock Creek. Relocation and restoration was arranged and funded by the Michigan State Department of Transportation, a new concrete bridge was constructed to replace this historic truss bridge after the relocation. |
