Description |
The W.D. Gordon Home located on the south side of Main Street between Gordon and Ashman. Home built by Charlie Brown for his daughter Maude and her husband Dr. Charles McCallum, to the right of the home stood the office for Dr. McCallum, W.D. Gordon purchased the home and office in early 1900's. The home was destroyed in a fire on September 23, 1914. Stone in fence was later removed to Midland Cemetary and used to build burial vault for Mr. &. Mrs. Gordon. |
