The Midland City Boyscout Council first organized on February 7, 1921, formed from the impetus of several local churches. The first elected council included Ray Hart, R.J. Hyde, A.N. Patriarch, W.E. Ryan, S.L. Starks, H.C. Eastman, F.N. Lowry, W.M. Freeman, and L.G. Morell. By 1928 there were 5 different troops in the Midland area. In 1929 the Midland City Council joined with the Bay City Council to form the Summer Trails Council. |
