The Midland Board of Education was formed May 8th 1893, establishing a single board overseeing all schools within the City of Midland, the new board replaced an older system of each school managed by individual boards. Original board members included: Henry Hart, J.W. Snell, F. A. Towsley, F.L. Post, B.B. Ball, and Reardon. |
