Postcard photograph of the flood of 1912, the river crested on May 22, 1912, no official record of the flood level exists, however accounts of the time reported the river crested 25 feet above normal river levels and 2 feet above prior flood levels.
View looking across the river towards the fourth ward, Charles Brown Lumber mill is located in the lower right corner of the photo, a wooden brinewell is shown along the river.
