Midland County Circuit Court Records -

Midland County Circuit Court Records including all available case records from the Chancery Court, Old Law, New Law and Criminal case series from 1857 through 1946. Also includes 35 large volumes of indices and various calendars (docket books) and journals relating to the cases. The Criminal series of cases is incomplete. There is just one box, and yet there are criminal cases listed in the 'calendar' (a.k.a. docket book) for that seris, and also in the New Law calendar. An artificial series was created called 'Miscellaneous' to include records which seemed to be related to Midland County, but could not be tied to any specific case.
