Use Keyword Search to conduct basic keyword searches across the entire collection or search specifically in the Archives or Photo collections. Keyword searches use OR as a default connector, (for example searches for Dow Chemical will return searches for Dow OR Chemical, use boolean searches with AND as a connector to generate broad searches such as Dow AND Chemical or narrow the search by wrapping the term in quotes, (e.g. "Dow Chemical"). You can also use an asterisk (*) to conduct a wildcard search.
Use the Advanced Search feature to conduct searches in specific fields including: subject, date, search term, box inventory, city and event. Locate biographical information and identify records linked with specific people by using the advanced search feature to search the People field.
